Each year, the Town of Tyrone honors those who served in the United States Armed Forces by way of the Tyrone Veterans Committee. One of those ways is through the banner program. Applicants can honor their Veterans by purchasing banners to be placed along various roadways near the center of Tyrone. Applications, along with the required documents and payment, are due by May 1, 2026. Banners will be displayed before Memorial Day 2026 and remain in place through Veterans’ Day 2026. Banners will be returned to applicants after display.
Banners are 30" x 60".
Disclaimer: This program is on a first come, first served basis. Banners will be limited to one (1) per service member. Installation, location, and removal of the banners are at the organizers’ discretion. Organizers are not responsible for lost/stolen banners or repairs to the banners, should they be damaged by inclement weather or otherwise, aside from standard manufacturer warranty. Refunds will be processed within two weeks for unapproved applications.
The Tyrone Veterans Committee operates as a subordinate entity under the Friends of the Tyrone Museum, a nonprofit organization recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
